Spoonie Beauty Hacks: Funny Hacks for Those with Low Energy

A collection of funny how-to guides for beauty problems, aimed at those who are chronically ill…

A while ago I posted a #spooniebeautyhack on Instagram. It was of me with messy hair after a nap, and the caption read:” Spoonie beauty hacks: Bed-head. Step 1: nap, Step 2: wake up (hard), Step 3: ACHIEVEMENT UNLOCKED.”

The reaction was good. So I followed it up with another on how to cover tired eyes.

It seems you guys like my sense of humour on this one. So I decided to put a bit of effort into making them into visual guides that are highly pinnable (should you be so social media-ly inclined).

Currently, there are only three but I will keep adding to this post with new Spoonie Beauty Hacks. Let me know if you have any suggestions in the comments below.

#1 Easy Bedhead hair

Creating that messy bedhead hair look requires a lot of time, energy and products, right?! Nope! Just get your nap on…

  1. Love it! My favourite hack is to cover the dark shadows with glitter! I’m sure I saw it on Instagram or Pinterest.

    1. Yes! I’ve seen that too 🙂

  2. Why haven’t I thought of a masquerade ball mask before? There’s me faffing around with concealer, but this would be so much quicker & a heck of a lot more effective!
Thanks for the chuckles Laura 🙂

  3. That’s so funny, thank you Laura 🙂

  4. This made my day 😉
