You go a whole year without any hummingbird competitions and then two come along in quick succession. Get your clicking fingers ready, because we are on the hunt again for some Topcashback Sweet Treats (I expect it will start on Valentine’s day itself).

What’s Topcashback?
Topcashback is a site where you can earn a small amount back on online purchases. If you aren’t a member yet, you can sign up for Topcashback here.
Payouts can take a little time, so be patient. But it all adds up to a bit of extra money, particularly if you take advantage of their bonuses too.
What is Topcashback Sweet Treats 2023?
Uh. Haven’t we already done this? Yes, they ran a three-day Sweet Treats competition a few weeks back, but they are launching the full competition for Valentine’s day.
The competition is a free giveaway run by Topcashback, in which you hunt down hummingbirds for cash prizes or entry into the grand prize draw. Instant win prizes range from £10p to £100.
Just look for Hummingbirds flying about on retailer pages around the site. If you click them, you either get a treat or an entry into the big prize draw. Treats add up to cash prizes.
Every day, you can find a hummingbird on the page hinted at in the daily clue. The answer is below if you’re stuck.
But don’t stop there! There are random birds to find on other pages. Many people find it easier to work from a list of pages hummingbirds have already been spotted on, so I’ve compiled a list below.
But first, the daily clue answers. Type them into the search bar on Topcashback and you’ll find a bird, and hopefully a prize too!

Random Hummingbirds
You aren’t limited to just one catch a day. Hummingbirds will also appear on other pages, and my list below can help you to nab some.
There is debate as to whether the pages random Hummingbirds are found on are completely random, or whether they have a wide range of set pages. But, what I and many others agree on, is that using a list of confirmed locations to look for birds seems to help, either because it sets you looking in the right locations or because it makes you look in a wider variety of spots.
So, you can find a list below of confirmed locations from myself and others, and a list of locations from previous games to work off in the early days.
First, a hints to help you:
- *NEW TIP* It’s normally not worth your time looking at pages you’ve already found birds on as they rarely appear, but there seems to be have been some sort of reset and I am finding birds again on pages at a decent rate
- Just caught a bird? A new one won’t appear for a little bit. I tend to find around 20 minutes works well.
- Look for a random hummingbird before you do the daily clue. If you do the clue first, you get a time-out before finding another, but you can find the daily clue immediately after a random one.
- Struggling to find any random birds? Try clearing your cache and cookies then logging back in and trying again.
- As the game goes on, it gets harder to find birds. I always do better in the morning than in the afternoon. There seems to be a limit on how many you can find, and that limit increases a bit daily, so once you reach it things slow down a lot.
- If you’ve seen someone else spot a bird on a particular page, it doesn’t mean you will too. But it is worth checking out.
