Win a Thyroid Check Plus test from Medichecks (UK only)

Medichecks gave me a Thyroid Test to give to one of my UK readers. It could be you. Enter the Competition below…

Last month, Medichecks sent me a test so I could try out their service. I had an at-home finger-prick test and I found the process super simple. You can read my review here.

Now they’ve been kind enough to give me a Thyroid Check Plus test to give to one of my readers. You can enter the competition via the Gleam button below. This is a UK company so you will need to be in the UK to enter.

The thyroid test seemed like a good choice for my readers. A lot of you guys, like me, have big issues with fatigue. I actually already have an underactive thyroid diagnosis and can tell you that the fatigue I had from that when it was untreated is not too dissimilar from the fatigue I have from my ME, Endometriosis and Adenomyosis.

If you don’t know the politics around thyroid tests, I’d highly recommend checking out Thyroid UK’s information.

The basic message is, your NHS doctor may well not be doing enough tests to give you a proper picture of your thyroid health. I would always recommend asking your doctor to do more thorough tests, but if they refuse and, after reading Thyroid UK’s information you feel it may be something you need to look into, then Medichecks is one of the companies you can use to get checked out.

They run a Thyroid Thursday deal, where thyroid tests are discounted on.. you guessed it… a Thursday. Just go to the Medichecks website.

Best of luck in the Competition!

  1. I was actually looking at this test last month because the Doctors refuse to do the right tests for me! Great idea doing a competition! Best of luck to everyone who enters! X

  2. This is a fantastic giveaway which would be so helpful. Thyroid testing in the UK is hard to get, and even then it’s so unreliable. Great idea! I already follow but have just subscribed to the YouTube channel. Don’t use Twitter to ‘like’ that one but I’ve commented on Insta (which has also reminded me to post up some new stuff. I think more home testing will help to give patients back a little control and empower us – I had my thyroid diagnosis retracted by a haematologist after my GP diagnosed me so it’ll be a fight from here to get tested again, another diagnosis, proper treatment.
    Caz xx

    1. Wow! I’m sorry to hear that. That must be so frustrating. Hope you get some answers in the near future and best of luck with the comp!

  3. I would really love to try this. I have suffered from fibromyalgia and CFS for 8 yrs and it has become so bad, I’ve been unable to work for 17 months. In that time I have had no support from my gp who simply says there’s nothing can be done for these conditions and hasn’t even seen me face to face for an assessment. It would be great if only to rule out a thyroid problem so thanks for the opportunity x

    1. Best of luck Debbie. I hope things improve for you soon x

  4. great giveaway, thank you 🙂
